Calling procedures within a procedure At this point the children should be able to see a link between the number of sides and the turn angle of the turtle. The work can now be extended to draw complex patterns by recalling, a named procedure within another procedure. In the example below, a Decagon and Hexagon combine to create a complex and interesting pattern.
